Day 1: Hanoi Arrival
On your arrival in Hanoi, you will be welcome by Viet Vision Travel's guide and driver. Then transfer to the hotel for check-in and relax. Feel free to explore Vietnamese capital later.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (B, L)
In the morning, visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his house on stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, the outside of the Presidential Palace and the Temple of Literature which was Vietnam's first University. In the afternoon, reach the intriguing Ethnology Museum followed by an hour on a cyclo (a pedal rickshaw) being taken around the old quarter of Hanoi. In the evening, reach the Hanoi train station for a night train to Lao Cai.
Day 3: Lao Cai - Sapa (B)
Upon arrival in the early morning, enjoy breakfast then head to the hotel for check-in and relax. Afterward, travel to the nearby China/ Vietnam border gate where you can observe the start of everyday trade taking place between the two countries. About one hour's drive on a scenic route brings us to Sapa, an old French trading town set high on the mountainside with spectacular views all around.
Next, there will be free time to explore the market where ethnic minorities gather together to trade their local products. After lunch, take a 3-hour walk to Cat Cat village of the H'Mong people to get a closer look at their rustic lifestyle then travel to the Silver Waterfall, the most beautiful waterfall in Lao Cai. Day 4: Sapa Village Tour - Overnight Train to Hanoi (B)
Today after a short journey overlooking beautiful, terraced rice paddies, arrive at the two villages of Lao Chai and Ta Van of the H'Mong and Giay hill people. Spend about time walking around the villages, seeing children playing in the yard or local women weaving colorful clothes, and enjoying local specialties at a traditional wooden stilt house. In the afternoon, return to the hotel in Sapa for a short rest before checking-out and traveling to Lao Cai Station to catch the overnight sleeper train back to Hanoi.
Day 5: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B, L, D)
Upon arrival in the early morning, transfer to the hotel for breakfast and freshen up. Then depart for Halong Bay, one of the World Natural Heritage Sites. Embark the ship and start the cruise adventure in this secluded bay, marveling at 3000 limestone peaks that emerge from the emerald water. You will have an opportunity to visit the spectacular limestone mountains and caves, swim from our boat, and especially kayaking to explore the hidden charm part of the bay. Day 6: Halong Bay - Hanoi (B, L)
In the morning, after taking Taichi lesson with the master, get on a small boat to explore Luon cave and Turtle islet, Human Head islet, and the Saddle islet. After lunch, farewell Halong Bay and travel back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 7: Hanoi - Fly to Hue (B)
This morning, catch a one-hour flight to Hue and start the discovery at this old capital. In the afternoon, take a wonderful dragon boat trip on the romantic Perfume River, enjoy the peaceful sceneries along the river banks. Stop at Thien Mu Pagoda (the Pagoda of the Heavenly Lady), the most sacred religious construction in Hue.

After breakfast, head for the mighty Mekong Delta today. At Vinh Long town, board a local boat so we can zigzag through the intricate waterways of the Mekong. Stop for lunch at a local house. Then travel to pottery villages to see local people producing beautiful pottery products. Then travel to Can Tho, the heart of Mekong Delta where you are free to explore this city. Day 15: Cai Be Floating Market (B, L)
Our day will begin with a boat trip along the endless waterway of the mighty Mekong River to Cai Be floating market, one of the most beautiful floating markets in the region. After that, we have a chance to see how the local people making: popcorn and rice paper.
In the afternoon, take a motorboat to explore Tra Su cajuput forest in Chau Doc. Visit the wild bird sanctuary inside the forest then reach the watchtower to get a panoramic view of the forest and nearby mountains. Overnight in Chau Doc.
