Hue Rural Life Discovery Tour by Vespa - Morning (L)

In the morning, our guide and Vespa drivers will pick up you at your hotel. After a tour briefing, we will go through the small roads to the countryside area of Hue city. On the way come to local markets, you will have a chance to see many communal houses and family temples with our tour guide’s explanations about Vietnamese villages from the past to now. Then, one interesting station is the village market "Da Le market” where most female villagers come every day to do various trading activities.

After that, we continue riding to come into a village pagoda of nuns whose story is about "cause and effect" or "seed condition". Then, we leave and move to a local family. At the stop by Vespa scooter, you get to the village to visit a Hue local rice-growing family where the three-generation family tries to maintain a traditional job of making sticky-rice cakes, was well-known as "Banh Chung – Banh Tet”. These are very special cakes and indispensable foods in the traditional Tet of Vietnam and you can see it in any Vietnamese family.

At lunchtime, we will eat Banh Beo – one typical of Hue city and enjoy dessert with local fresh fruits grown in their own gardens. You also can taste the cake while hearing their stories and having a cup of tea before continuing our journey.
