Full Itinerary
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - Cai Be - An Binh Island (L, D)
Departure from hotel in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) at 8 AM, drive through busy traffic forwarding to Mekong Delta, after 2 hours driving we arrive in Cai Be town. Then, boarding on sampan boat, cruising along the rive, sometimes we disembark for visiting local handy craft such as popcorn, rice paper, and coconut candy making…
Our boat trip will anchor in An Binh Island where our lunch will be hosted by hospitable local family. An Binh Island features rice paddy, charming wetland, and tropical fruit gardens where you can taste many kinds of the best fruits which are as specialties of Mekong Delta region’s cuisine and experience boating travel on the beautiful rivers.
We will spend the afternoon time enjoying cycling to the neighbor hamlets; cross bridges and some of the villages on the way. We will return our local family for dinner and overnight homestay.

Day 2: An Binh Island - Mo Cay - Tra Vinh (B, L, D)
Bid farewell to our house’s family, we keep going by boat for short riding to next destination, we then go on the shore with our bike, start cycling on the village road, passing through many beautiful untouched hamlets, lush and fertility fruit orchards, arrival to a little quiet town of Mo Cay in time for lunch. Mo Cay is in Ben Tre, known as “the world of coconut”, becoming an appealing attraction in the Mekong Delta.
After lunch, we continue cycling to ferry of Co Chien, cross the river to Tra Vinh town for hotel overnight.

Day 3: Tra Vinh - Tieu Can - Can Tho (B, L)
Leaving our hotel for the day of challenging long cycling distance, with bus escort from the behind that would guarantee peace of mind; you will be able to rest any time if you feel exhausted which still keeps up with the group. Long cycling routine we can stop to break in villages to get to know about their daily life, chatting with friendly local villagers, visit Khmer temple of Khmer ethnic minority people and actual how is Vietnamese cultivated rice on the paddy. Lunch in a local restaurant of Cau Ke town, spend afternoon time riding along lower Mekong River to Can Tho ferry to cross the Hau Giang River to Can Tho.
(Tieu Can is a rural district of Vinh Long in the Mekong Delta, which is famous for its peaceful space, Khmer architectural works, unique cuisine and famous scenic spots such as Ba Om Pond or the Ok Om Bok festivals.)
Tonight we stay at the hotel in Can Tho City.

Day 4: Can Tho- Long Xuyen (B, L, D)
Can Tho is most fascinating with Cai Rang floating market as the largest wholesale market in the Mekong Delta. It is like a must-be place on your Mekong Delta tour.
Starting our day early in the morning for Cai Rang, you would be fascinated by the bustle and very vibrant sounds of produce market taking place on the water. We then cruise back to Can Tho city for breakfast then check out the hotel. Riding the bike along Mekong river bank to Vam Cong ferry, cross the river to Long Xuyen province, on the way we enjoy the beautiful sceneries of a rural region, chatting with local cycling mate. Long Xuyen is the second largest city in the Mekong Delta, which has many lively markets, especially lighted streets as inviting you for an extensive walk.
Tonight we stay at the hotel in town.

Day 5: Long Xuyen - Sa Dec - Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)
We start the new day by cycle along the bank of Lap Vo canal, through peaceful villages, beautiful landscapes, primary culture and friendly local with nice smile available on their broad mind face. Arrival Sa Dec for lunch at the noontime, we then get on the bus for heading straight back to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon).
(Sa Dec, known as the charming colonial town and sleepy town of Dong Thap province, is not still very touristy and s truly hidden gem in the Mekong Delta.)
