Day 1: Hanoi Arrival - Halong City (D)

On our arrival in Noi Bai international airport in Hanoi; we are welcomed & picked up by the tour guide & driver and then on a drive in about 3 hours & a half directly to Ha Long. On the way; we will have a short break in a good stop for going toilet & relaxing.
We arrive in our hotel in Halong City in the afternoon or early evening; checking in and free time. In the evening; we are getting to a fine local restaurant for having dinner and then we can have an exploration to Halong night market before returning the hotel for staying overnight.

Day 2: Halong Bay (4-Hour boat trip with seafoof lunch on boat) - Hanoi (B, L)
We check out the hotel at around 8:00 am for being picked – up by our tour guide & driver in a short drive to Halong’s tourist harbor. Once here we move to our own private boat for cruising on Ha Long Bay. We will enjoy a delicious, fresh, seafood lunch after that while spending about 4 hours cruising on this secluded bay.
During the time of cruising, we will have the opportunity to visit the spectacular Heaven Palace (Thien Cung) and Dau Go caves, those caves crammed with thousands of stalactites and stalagmites with different colors, shapes, and size. Those definitely will stir your imagination. After that, we keep cruising to see many limestone islands and islets, which dotted around the bay including:
Incense Bowl islet, Cock Fighting islet, Sail islet, turtle island...And if weather permitting, we can swim from our boat in the bay. We then go back to the harbor in another way where our driver is waiting for us for a drive directly to Hanoi. We arrive back in Hanoi in the early evening at around 16:00 with dropping off at the hotel & free time on your own relaxation then. Stay overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi City Tour (B, L)
Today we start our one-day city tour from the lobby of the hotel. We will drive to Ho Chi Minh Complex, where we will spend a couple of hours to visit: Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum, his former stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh museum and one pillar pagoda. Keep going to see the Temple of Literature: Originally built as a temple to Confucius, this is the site of Vietnam's first university dating back to 1070. The temple highlights the importance that Vietnamese society placed then and now on education.
Lunch will be at a fine local restaurant in Hanoi.
In the afternoon, we will visit one of the most interesting museums in Vietnam; Museum of Ethnology, which is widely acknowledged as the best in the country and has an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam's 54 Ethnic minority peoples. Following that, we will wander around the city by car to see the real-life of Hanoian as well as the different parts of the city. After that we will take one-hour cyclo around the Old Quarter, known as the 36 streets, this bustling area of narrow streets is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers.
Originally, each of the 36 streets names' was related to the products being sold there. Before we go back to the hotel, we will have the chance to enjoy the unique Water Puppet show. Hear the Vietnamese traditional instruments and singing from the live musicians who play throughout the show. The trip will be finished after the show at the hotel.
Note:
Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is not opened on every Monday & Friday. Museum of Ethnology is closed on every Monday.

We are free till being picked –up at a reasonable time by our tour guide & driver for a drive to Noi Bai airport to catch our own international flight to the next destination or back home. Have a nice flight out!
