Hue City Tour - Morning (L)
You will be picked at the lobby of your hotel in the morning. Transfer to the Wharf where we will cruise along the Perfume River. The Perfume River is a river that crosses Hue, representing for endless beauty of this ancient city. It got that name because flowers from orchards upriver from Hue fall into the water, giving the river a perfume-like aroma, especially in the Autumn.
Our boat cruise around the fishing village before heading to west direction to majors king’s tombs location. On the way, stop at the shore for visiting Thien Mu Pagoda (The Heavenly Lady pagoda), which provides a good view of Perfume River and surrounding areas.
Especially, visit the car which Thich Quang Duc monk took to burn himself to death to again Diem’s regime during the war. Back on the boat, continue cruising to Tu Duc King’s tomb, which is one of the most beautiful works of Royal Architecture of the Nguyen Dynasty. The tomb lies in a boundless pine forest, giving you feeling that you’re lost in a huge scenery park, where the old monuments of old feudal time are harmoniously in tune with the natural atmosphere of Hue. Then we cruise back to the Hue city for our delicious lunch at a fine local restaurant.
Hue City Tour - Afternoon
In the afternoon, visit the Hue Imperial Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City then stroll around Dong Ba market to buy some souvenirs and enjoy some local specialties. The Hue City Tour ends at around 06:00 PM at hotel.
