FULL ITINERARY
Day 1: Hanoi – Tuyen Quang – Ha Giang – Quan Ba (B, L, D)
Viet Vision Travel's tour guide & driver will pick you up at the hotel in Hanoi in the early morning, take a 291-km drive north to Ha Giang. The drive takes at least 6 hours passing through the countryside, villages, and towns in far Northeast Vietnam. Along the way, stop to visit Mac Dynasty Citadel in Tuyen Quang Province and a nearby local market.
After lunch in a local restaurant, continue to Ha Giang. On arrival in the mid-afternoon, visit Tha Cultural Village which is 5 Km away from the town center. The village is home to Tay people and surrounded by rice terrace. Back to the town and check-in your hotel which overlooks the river. Dinner and overnight in Quan Ba.

Day 2: Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Lung Cu – Dong Van – Meo Vac (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel, start our journey by passing through Quan Ba, which is considered one of the most stunning routes in Vietnam. Stop to visit some minority communities en route and talk with the lovely local children. You can bring them some sweets, candy or snacks but not money. On this route, we spent time passing by some highlight places as Bac Sum Slope – Quan Ba Heaven’s Gate; Quan Ba Twin Moutain Fairy. You will have some time to drink café in the middle of the mountain and watch the amazing view of Ha Giang.
Then, on the way to transfer to Meo Vac, we will pass by Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, the signature park when you visit Ha Giang before stopping at Lung Cu Flag Tower, a remarkable sight of Vietnam architecture, featuring an octagonal shape and towering at a height of 33.15 meters. Adorning the vicinity of the flagpole, you will discover 8 bronze drums gracefully attached and 8 remarkable green stone reliefs positioned at the base of the towering flagpole, depicting the diverse historical events of the nation. Then, we continue our tour to Nho Que River and visit Ma Pi Leng Mountain Pass, Hem Tu San (Tu San Canyon) – Above only, White/Magical Cliffs by boat. Finishing this tour, we will enjoy dinner in the H’Mong Hexagonal Village in Meo Vac and spend the rest of the night to sleep.

Day 3: Meo Vac – Dong Van Sunday Market – Nho Que River – Ha Giang (B, L, D)
*Every Sunday morning, the weekly ethnic markets here will be held in Dong Van. This market is even more famous than Yen Minh. You will need to wake up from 5-6am to enjoy the crownd atmostphere with so many colors of traditional customs outfits of ethnic minorities in here with tour guide.
This morning, we will start the tour around 7 am and we will transfer back to Dong Van for the Sunday Market, one of the must-doing things in Ha Giang. Spending around 2 hours here, we then continue the tour back to Ha Giang by car. On the way, we will stop at Dinh Vua Meo (Vuong’s Palace) – the ancient villa of Vuong Chinh Duc. The only one recognized by the Ha Giang ethnic people as king of the Hmong People at the beginning of the 20th century, who controlled Quan Ba, Yen Minh, Meo Vac, and Dong Van districts. Then, we will visit Lung Cam Culture Village (With Film Studio ‘Story of Pao’), where live mainly Hmong people and some other ethnic minority groups such as Hoa and Lo Lo etc. For centuries it is there as a “peaceful oasis” inside the beautiful Sung La Valley. On this way, you will have time to stop at Chin Khoanh Slope (Nine Turning Point Slope) before reaching Ha Giang Province. The rest of day will spend for sleeping.
