Boat Tour along the river of Cai Be Town - Morning (L)
We will visit local workshops to see the rice paste, coconut candy, and pop rice, pop-corn are made. We take the rowing boat entering deeper into the countryside on the smaller canals where we can see the traditional houses made of wood and palm tree leaves, the local daily life.
Interact with the vendors to understand more about their daily life. At midday, we have lunch at an ancient house which is over 170 years old.
Countryside Journey - Afternoon
After the morning tour, visit handicraft village seeing how the local people making rice-net for spring rolls, fish sauce, soya bean sauce, cooking salt, sewing coconut leaves for cottage roof… We also stop to visit some local workshops where they are making rice paper, coconut candy, pop-rice, pop-corn…which are very unique products of Cai be and Mekong Delta as well.
