Full Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Saigon - Ho Chi Minh City (D)
Arrival flight: your arrangement Up on arrival in Saigon, students will be met by a local guide who will escort to the hotel. Check-in.
In the evening, we will enjoy our welcome dinner at a fine local restaurant in town.
Overnight in Saigon.
Day 2: Mekong Delta (B, L, D)
Best departure time from Saigon: at 07:00 AM to get the full view of Cai Be floating market
Leaving busy Ho Chi Minh City we drive to Cai Be, boat through the busy floating market for seeing how people of lower Mekong Delta do business on the water. We then cruise through the lush green vegetation of the canals to an orchard, where we are treated to a delicious lunch complete with tropical fruits.
After lunch, we keep on cruising along the river to see the peaceful tranquil life of villagers, admire the marvelous natural setting of Mekong Delta region. About 03:00 PM, the boat will arrival at Vinh Long Market, walking around to explore Vinh Long Market. On the way back to Ho Chi Minh with a stop at Bonsai Garden. Arrival at your hotel in the late evening.
Day 3: Cu Chi - Cao Dai Temple (B, L, D)
In the morning we drive to Tay Ninh near the Cambodian border. This is home to the unique Cao Dai sect whose patron saints include Joan of Arc, Victor Hugo and Winston Churchill to name but a few. This religion is an odd mix of Buddhist, Taoist, Confucianism, and Christianity. Join Cao Dai worshippers for their daily noontide ceremony where hundreds of worshipers attired in lively red, yellow blue, and white, chant religious hymns.

Next, we will leave for the Cu Chi tunnels, otherwise known as the "Iron Triangle" or "Iron Land". On our way there we will drive through pleasant countryside; rubber plantations and rice paddies. Before entering the tunnels, we will see a short introductory video showing how they were constructed, followed by an exploration of the maze of tunnels, some of which have been widened to allow tourist access. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank, as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500lb bombs, dropped by B52 bombers.
Day 4: Saigon - City tour (B, L, D)
Our tour starts at 08:30 and ends at 18:00. We depart our hotel for the Reunification Palace, the former Presidential Palace for the president of the South of Vietnam. After that, we will visit the War Remnant Museum, where you can see countless artifacts, photographs, and pictures documenting the second Indochina war.
Before our lunch, we stop at Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post office to get our good shots for our memory of the biggest city in Vietnam. Our delicious lunch will be served at a nice restaurant in the central city. In the afternoon we will visit Ben Thanh market, Cho Lon, Chinese town and market. Here you can experience our Vietnamese Southern daily life.
In the evening, we enjoy our dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 5: Saigon - Fly to Nha Trang (B, D)
This morning, students will transfer to the airport for a short flight to Nha Trang. Arriving at Beach city, the group will transfer to the hotel. After check-in, students will free at leisure at the beach. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 6: Nha Trang - Full day relaxing and playing at Vinpearl Amusement Park (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel, students will transfer to the Vinpearl wharf to take the cable car or speed boat to Vinpearl Amusement Park. Enjoy beach activities at Vinpearl Amusement Park
Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 7: Nha Trang - Fly to Hanoi (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel, we transfer back to Cam Ranh airport for our flight to Hanoi. After 2 hour flight, we will arrive at Noi Bai airport in Hanoi. Transfer to Hanoi for our lunch.
Lunch on KFC – (pay by students)
We will drive to Ho Chi Minh Complex, where we will spend a couple of hours to visit: Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum, his former stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh museum and one pillar pagoda.
Keep going to see the Temple of Literature: Originally built as a temple to Confucius, this is the site of Vietnam's first university dating back to 1070. The temple highlights the importance that Vietnamese society placed then and now on education.
In the evening, we enjoy our dinner at the restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 8: Hanoi - Halong Bay (Overnight on junk) (B, L, D)
08:30: Pick up at hotel then transfer to Halong.
12.30: Arrive at Ha Long public pier. Warmly welcomed by the friendly crew. Welcome drink upon arrival, the Halong Sails Cruises. Check-in procedure.
13.00: Luch is served at the restaurant. Enjoy fresh local specialty whilst cruising among thousands of karst islets. Pass by the most breathtaking scenery such as Dog Islet, Incense Burner Islet, Hoa Cuong Floating Village, Fighting Cocks Islet and Thumb Islet.
15.30 – 17.30: Visit Surprising Cave.
Cruise to other side and have a remote watch from boat to Pearl Farm.
Return to Titop Island. Make various options for doing sightseeing with opened panoramic view at the peak of the mountain. Going for a walk on a sandy beach or swimming in the emerald water surface of the World Heritage Site.
17.30: Back to the anchorage for the night. Availability for kayaking (if booked in advance) and swimming from the boat. Enjoy the sunset from topdeck.
19.00: Dinner is served at the restaurant. You would be appetizing by valuable dishes, prepared by an experienced chef. Relax and experience a new lifestyle in Ha Long by night. Taste some drink or take part to catch some squid with the friendly crew (depends on the squid season). Try to be a singer by singing with a karaoke system on board. Back to the cabin and have a good sleep.
Day 9: Halong Bay - Hanoi (B, L, D)
6.00: Wake up in the early morning. Enjoy fresh air and breeze from the sea. Sunrise is over Ha Long bay.
7.00: Western breakfast is served at the restaurant.
8.00 – 10.00: Have a sampan to visit Tunnel Cave (Hang Luon) by going through the mountain. Availability for kayaking (if booked in advance). After the Tunnel Cave, set sail to have a continuation of the cruise, pass by Human Head Islet, Turtle Islet and head to Ha Long pier by cruising in Bai Tu Long bay which is close to the city and gradually become a thriving region.
10.00: Check out procedure.
10.30: Lunch is served at the restaurant. Last chance to get more energy from delicious dishes that excited you throughout the trip to the next destination.
11.30: Time to say goodbye to the crew. Have a short transfer to the Ha Long public pier.
Before we go back to the hotel, we will have the chance to enjoy the unique Water Puppet show. Hear the Vietnamese traditional instruments and singing from the live musicians who play throughout the show. Enjoy our farewell dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 10: Hanoi - Departure (B)
Today students will have their free time for last-minute shopping under teachers’ control. Then transfer back to the airport for flight to home. Trip concluded.
