We'll wrap up in Hanoi, Vietnam's artistic and intellectual capital, where you will explore the fascinating Old Quarter and its hundreds of specialty shops selling silk clothing, lacquer ware, embroidered linens, furniture, bamboo, cooking utensils, ceremonial objects and more.
Best of all, you'll spend a day cruising Halong Bay, where thousands of limestone rock sculptures jut dramatically from the sea and numerous grottoes have created an ephemeral, fantastic landscape.

Welcome upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh city, we are welcomed by local tour guide and driver then transfer to hotel.
Tonight we enjoy welcome dinner at a fine local restaurant in town. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 2: Mekong Delta (B, L, D)
My Tho is located in the Mekong Delta region of South Vietnam. The boat ride on Tien Giang River is very popular to tourists. There are many short boat trips to various islands.
We start our day at the lobby of the hotel and head to the peaceful town of My Tho where we visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda. Next, we will have a boat ride, visit local homes and orchards, a coconut candy workshop, a honeybee farm, take a sampan ride on palm-shaded creeks, try a taste of seasonal fruit and honey tea and enjoy a performance of traditional Southern singing. Later of the day, we return to Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 3: City tour - Cu Chi Tunnel (B, L, D)
Depends on the weather and season, we can visit Cu Chi tunnel in the morning or afternoon.
We are met by local tour guide and driver then head to the Cu Chi tunnels, otherwise known as the "Iron Triangle" or "Iron Land". On our way there we will drive through pleasant countryside; rubber plantations and rice paddies. Before entering the tunnels, we will see a short introductory video showing how they were constructed, followed by an exploration of the maze of tunnels, some of which have been widened to allow tourist access. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank, as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500lb bombs, dropped by B52 bombers. After that, we transfer back to Ho Chi Minh city for lunch.
After lunch, we visit the Reunification Palace, the former Presidential Palace for the president of the South of Vietnam. After that, we will visit the War Remnant Museum, where we can see countless artifacts, photographs, and pictures documenting the second Indochina war. We also stop at Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post office to get good shots for our memory of the big, modern city of Vietnam.
In the rest of the day, we will visit: Ben Thanh market, and then we will be back to the hotel at around 18:00.

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City - Hai Phong - Halong Bay (Boat trip) (B, L, D)
After early breakfast today, we transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for our short domestic flight o Hai Phong city where we are welcomed by local tour guide and driver. After that, we transfer to Halong.
Flight: VN1182 depart Ho Chi Minh city at 08:00; arrive Hai Phong city at 10:00
Arriving in Halong at midday, we explore Halong Bay by boat. Checking in the boat for 4-hour boating and having lunch, we then enjoy stunning view passing the boat. We visit Thien Cung (Heaven Palace) cave, circle Ga Choi, Dinh Huong, Dog, and Sail Islands….
At the end of the day, we transfer to the hotel in Halong city for our overnight.

After breakfast at the hotel, we head up to Hanoi. Arriving in Hanoi we visit

- The Temple of Literature: Originally built as a temple to Confucius, this is the site of Vietnam's first university dating back to 1070. The temple highlights the importance that Vietnamese society placed then and now on education
