According to legend, the Queen remembered by the name Kho was originally the child of a poor, peasant family who showed great talent and prudence as a manager of domestic affairs and became the wife of one of the 11th century Ly Kings.
As the wife of the ruling monarch, she was able to encourage the poor to carry out land reclamation and to participate in the building of large royal storage granaries on elevated sites safe from flooding, thus ensuring grain supplies in times of need. The present temple in her honor was built in Vu Ninh Commune (Bac Ninh).
People come to this temple before and after Tet to pray for prosperity and success in the year to come.
